How Miss Elegance handles your personal data when you visit this website or contact us.

Who we are
Miss Elegance is a beauty studio at the Performance Factory, Hoge Bothofstraat 23, 7511 ZA Enschede, the Netherlands. It is registered with the Dutch Chamber of Commerce (KvK) under number 91235006.
Miss Elegance is responsible for the personal data processed through this website, as described in this policy. You can reach us at info@misseleganceenschede.nl.
Treatments at Miss Elegance are provided by independent specialists, each running her own registered business. When you book a treatment, the specialist you book with is responsible for your booking details. You can read more about this under Booking a treatment.
What personal data we collect
We only collect the data we need. Depending on how you use the website, this can be:
- Contact form: your name, email address, phone number and the message you send us.
- Email: the details you share when you email us directly.
- Website statistics: only if you accept analytics cookies, information about how you use the website, such as the pages you visit, your type of device and browser, your approximate location (country or city) and how you found us.
- Technical data: our hosting provider keeps short-term server logs, including IP address, browser type and time of visit, to keep the website secure and working.
Please do not share medical information, such as allergies or skin conditions, through the contact form. Discuss these personally with your specialist.
Why we use it
- To answer your questions and help you with your visit. Legal basis: taking steps at your request before a possible appointment, and our legitimate interest in replying to messages.
- To understand how the website is used and improve it. Legal basis: your consent, which you give through the cookie banner and can withdraw at any time.
- To keep the website safe and working. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in a secure website.
We do not use your data for automated decision-making or profiling, and we never sell your data.
Booking a treatment
Treatments are booked directly with the specialist of your choice, through her own booking system or her own channels. The specialist and her booking platform process your booking details under their own privacy policies.
Miss Elegance does not receive or store the details of bookings you make with a specialist. If you have a question about your booking data, please contact the specialist you booked with.
Who we share it with
We only share your data with services that help us run this website. They process data on our behalf and under our instructions:
- Hostinger, our hosting provider, which stores the website and its server logs within the European Union.
- Google, for our email (messages from the contact form arrive in a Google mailbox), for website statistics through Google Analytics if you give consent, and for the web fonts used on this website.
We do not share your data with anyone else, unless we are legally required to.
Transfers outside the EU
Some of Google’s services may process data in the United States. Google LLC is certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework, which the European Commission recognises as offering an adequate level of protection. Where needed, Google also uses the EU standard contractual clauses.
How long we keep it
- Contact messages: up to 12 months after our last contact, unless we need them longer to help you with an ongoing question.
- Website statistics: up to 14 months in Google Analytics.
- Server logs: for a limited period set by our hosting provider, for security purposes.
How we protect your data
We take appropriate measures to protect your data. The website uses a secure connection (HTTPS), access to the website and mailbox is limited and protected, and the software is kept up to date and backed up regularly.
Your rights
Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR, in Dutch AVG), you have the right to:
- see the personal data we have about you;
- have incorrect data corrected;
- have your data deleted;
- limit or object to how we use your data;
- receive your data in a format you can take elsewhere;
- withdraw your consent at any time, for example by changing your cookie settings.
To use any of these rights, email us at info@misseleganceenschede.nl. We will reply within one month. We may ask you to confirm your identity first.
If you are not satisfied with how we handle your data, you can file a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority, the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens.

This website uses a small number of cookies. Analytics cookies are only placed after you give consent. You can read exactly which cookies we use, and how to change your choice, in our cookie policy.

Children
This website is not intended for children under 16. If you believe a child has shared personal data with us, please contact us and we will delete it.
